## Who is Hunter?

**Performance Coach & Player Development Specialist**

Coach Hunter Thornton brings a high-energy, development-first approach to the field, combining his experience as a successful two-way player with a growing resume as a coach and mentor. A standout at **Limestone Community High School**, Hunter earned honors as the **2019 Mid-Illini Pitcher of the Year** and **2021 All-Conference Two-Way Player**, before continuing his collegiate career at **Illinois Central College** and **William Penn University**.

Hunter’s coaching journey began in his hometown of **Peoria, Illinois**, where he served as a head coach for 10U–12U teams and later contributed as an assistant with nationally recognized programs like **Wow Factor**, **Canes**, and the **Tigers**. His broad experience ranges from youth development to mentoring high-level high school and college-bound athletes.

As a **pitching specialist**, Coach Thornton focuses on consistency in mechanics, mental sharpness, and doing the small things right.
