This winter, sharpen your skills with the Rawlings Training Center Softball Clinic Series, led by two of the area’s top instructors—Coach Kim Ripley and Coach Kelsey Etling. Each clinic is designed to elevate your game with high-level instruction, competitive energy, and personalized feedback in a small-group environment.

Meet the Instructors

Coach Kim Ripley – Power Hitting & Corner Infield

From dominating in the SEC to coaching at Saint Louis University, Kim Ripley is one of the premier hitting minds in the Midwest. A former Mizzou Tiger legend, Kim set the program’s all-time home run record (58 HRs) and helped lead the team to a Women’s College World Series appearance. Known for her powerful swing and relentless competitive drive, Kim specializes in:

  • Power hitting and offensive approach

  • Corner infield defense

  • Developing confidence and mental toughness at the plate

Her sessions are high-energy, technical, and inspiring—athletes leave motivated and better prepared to perform in games.


Coach Kelsey Etling – Catching & Hitting Development

A six-year standout catcher at Saint Louis University, Kelsey Etling carved her name into SLU’s record books while helping lead the Billikens to back-to-back historic seasons, including an Atlantic 10 title and a conference championship game appearance. With experience as both a Division I athlete and professional instructor, she specializes in:

  • Catching mechanics and throwing efficiency

  • Situational hitting and clutch performance

  • Building mental toughness and confidence behind the plate

Kelsey’s unique blend of leadership, technical knowledge, and player-first coaching style makes her a favorite among families who want their athletes to thrive under pressure.
